The Hoffman2 Cluster is an endpoint on the Globus Online service, connected via UCLA’s 100 Gbps high-speed research network backbone, enabling fast, reliable, and secure data transfers to and from cloud and national resources.
OARC’s tools and consultants helps researchers implement effective research data management practices across the entire research lifecycle — from data transfer and analysis to HPC storage and data sharing strategies. Our team can also advise on available campus resources for information about best data practices, long-term preservation options, and compliance with funder and institutional requirements.
Solutions We Offer

The Hoffman2 Cluster provides an all-flash, high-bandwidth, high-throughput, and low-latency data storage solution to support high-performance workloads. All users receive 60 GB by default, with the option to purchase additional storage.
Researchers can easily and securely share data through the OneSciencePlace platform. Its fine-grained access controls, metadata annotation, and custom visualization tools enhance collaboration and facilitate the discovery of research data.
If OARC's solutions do not fit your needs, our team of experts can recommend appropriate options and campus resources for data management. We can provide guidance to help you enhance the discoverability and long-term preservation of your research data.
