Andrea Paquillo

Andrea Paquillo is a Human Resources Analyst for UCLA’s Office of Advanced Research Computing (OARC), where she provides comprehensive HR and people services support for UCLA’s research enterprise. Her work supports the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and hiring support, onboarding and offboarding, compensation and payroll coordination, complex leave administration, and compliance‑driven HR operations. Andrea also plays a key in-person role in frontline HR service delivery, supervising service hub personnel, and driving process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience across research support teams.

Prior to joining OARC in 2023, Andrea served as an HR Analyst for UCLA Health, providing dedicated HR support to the Departments of Urology, Surgery, and Radiation Oncology. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and is currently completing her Human Resources Management Certificate through UCLA Extension. Andrea is recognized for her collaborative, client‑centered approach and her ability to translate complex HR requirements into effective, high‑quality service.
